When Gods Cry; Pain is Our Prayer.
Fern the Cunning
Fern the Cunning
“Alignment”: Lawful Evil
Domains: Law, Evil, Knowledge, Trickery
Holy Symbol: A gloved hand plucking a blue sphere
Favored Weapon: Rapier
Fern the Cunning is the brightest and most knowledgeable of all the Old Gods. She has encyclopedic knowledge of the planes, the Gods, and the Material Plane. Fern is also the craftiest of the Old Gods, able to swindle even the most well prepared deity.
Fern came to the material plane on a regular basis both to assist her followers and to learn more from what the conscious creatures has discovered. (Fern would also correct those who had fallen into false knowledge, though this great mercy was rare.)
Thieves worship Fern for her craftiness but occasionally scholars and wizards make her their patron in hopes she will impart some of her great knowledge onto them.
How Fern Views the Other Gods:
Lars the Benevolent: Fern appreciates Lars’ creation, because it gives her more things to study. Lars himself, however, isn’t someone with whom she spends much time.
Inga the Triumphant: Fern believes Inga to be the most intolerable of the Old Gods. She finds Inga snooty and self-righteous. Fern sees Inga’s methodology as barbaric and dim-witted.
Cascious the Meek: Fern loves to take advantage of Cascious’ kindness whenever she can. She also enjoys beating the “luckiest” God.
Krillix the Detested: Fern believes Krillix to be the least intelligent of the Gods, but likes how much trouble he causes Inga.
Hershwick the Exchanger: Fern and Hershwick are business partners. She and he often plot to steal planar artifacts.
Aya the Observant and Sanya the Mad: Fern and the Twin-Sisters have spoken only once, and only the three of them know why they never interacted with each other again.
Uung the Companion: Fern is a loner and finds Uung unnessecary.
